This ‘Sleep Technique’ Can Take Years Off Your Look

Chances are, you’ve heard all about ‘beauty sleep’ before. And while it might sound like another old cliché, it’s actually 100% backed by science. In fact, today, I’m going to share one of the easiest, science-backed methods to help ‘boost’ your beauty sleep so you can literally slumber your way to ‘ageless’-looking skin!

But first: Why is sleep key for a youthful appearance? Well, this is a time when skin cell turnover is at its peak. meaning old cells ‘fall away’ while young cells rise to the surface. This process is what helps keep skin visibly smooth, tight, and healthy-looking.

However, there’s one huge pitfall. As we get older, our skin’s turnover process slows down — and soon, those dead cells start to pile up by the millions. Not only can this seriously “DIM” your complexion, it can make every single imperfection even more visible (especially dark spots, sagging, and wrinkles.) So in order to help your skin look visibly smooth, firm, and flawless, you have to find another way to help your skin shed those aged cells at night.

Lucky for us, there’s one ‘anti-aging’ molecule that can do just that: Retinol - a super-concentrated form of vitamin A that can be applied topically to help:

  • Give skin a tighter, more lifted appearance
  • “Buff out” the look of age spots and discoloration
  • Strip away layers of surface dullness
  • Smooth out the look of lines and wrinkles

But while there are countless retinol formulas on the market, I actually urge you to stay far, far away from them. See, traditional retinol can be pretty irritating. That’s why many brands opt to use very low amounts of retinol, and then they water down the formula even more.

But here’s where things get even more frustrating. Even at low concentrations, retinol can still dry out and irritate your skin in the long run by gradually eating away at its protective barrier, leaving you more susceptible to wrinkles, dullness, and sagging!

So the question is: How can you achieve the skin-perfecting benefits of retinol without compromising your skin’s health? It’s a little something called Micro-encapsulated retinol, where each and every retinol molecule is cloaked in a special irritation-blocking “sheath.” Not only does this help neutralize the harsh, drying “side effects” that store-bought retinol is notorious for, i also helps stabilize the retinol to ensure it doesn’t break down when exposed to air, helping it deliver maximum skin-smoothing effects. The result is skin that looks more smooth, even-toned, and dazzling than it has in years!
